    Please Note:

    1. SwimTastic programmes operate throughout the year (Perpetual Programme). We do not operate on public holidays and you will not be charged for any lesson impacted by a public holiday or Christmas/New Year shutdown period.

    2. SwimTastic programmes are charged in accordance with our class levels/programmes offered. Notification of any price changes will be given in our regular newsletters before they take effect. Please contact us for further information on prices and for all our swim programme timetables and offerings. 

    3. SwimTastic school holiday programmes are separate from perpetual bookings and require full payment upon making your booking.  Please refer to the holiday programme Terms and Conditions at the bottom of this page.

    4. SwimTastic Private lessons are separate from perpetual bookings. Please refer to the Private lessons Terms and Conditions at the bottom of this page.

    5. We do not take pencil/tentative bookings. Once a booking has been made it is taken as a confirmed and ongoing booking until a written cancellation confirmation is received.

    6. Fees for our perpetual programmes are to be paid in advance by monthly Direct Debit from a nominated bank account, credit or debit card on the 1st of each month. If a payment day is not on a working day, we will debit your account on the next working day. Depending on your bank, payments may take up to 5 working days to be processed. Please ensure you have allowed for this possibility by having enough money in your nominated account for up to 5 working days following your payment date. Whilst your child is enrolled with SwimTastic the direct debit payments will automatically be applied on the 1st of the month for the month ahead. If payment fails, this will be re-run throughout the month.

    7. Direct Debits paid by credit or debit cards will incur a Surcharge. Direct Debit to bank accounts do not incur this fee.  

    8. If a payment is overdue for a period of 2 weeks after a payment run, then your child's swimming lessons will be cancelled, and you will still be charged for the month. 

    9. SwimTastic reserves the right to change any teacher, at any time, at our discretion. 

    10. For the health and well-being of all SwimTastic customers, swimming caps are compulsory for all swimmers 3 years of age and over. 

    11. SwimTastic’s primary form of communication is via email. It remains our client’s responsibility to keep their details up to date in your SwimTastic App/online web portal and subscribed to receive all service updates, booking information/confirmation. 

    12. Any cancellations must be made in writing. Please note it is your responsibility to provide SwimTastic with a notice of withdrawal in writing via email (info@swimtastic.co.nz) or using the drop function via the SwimTastic mobile app/online web portal. We do not accept verbal cancellations. Cancellation must be made PRIOR to the end of the current month enrolled, if this date is missed you will be charged for the next full month of lessons. Once payment has been made and you then decide to withdraw your child from swimming lessons there will be no refund or credit for the payment made. If you withdraw part-way through the month, you will still be charged for the full month.

    13. CCTV is in place around SwimTastic to monitor the safety of our swim school, teachers and participants. SwimTastic may take photos/videos of the lessons from time to time, in order to assess lessons or teachers for internal training purposes. 

    14. SwimTastic understands that parents want to take photos and videos of  their swimmers. Please be mindful and respect other families’ privacy when taking images.  

    15. If you sign up to swim more than once a week per child in our perpetual swim school programmes you will receive a 25% discount. This is calculated on the 1st of the month, for the month ahead. Should you add additional lessons per week, partway through the month, you will receive a 25% discount on the additional lesson added (not the previously charged lessons for that month). Causal lessons, holiday programmes and Adult squads/Health H20/Lap swimming are not eligible for this discount.

    16. The make-up policy for missed perpetual lessons can be found below. You must have an active booking in our swim school to be eligible. No credit or refunds are provided as an alternative. Clients agree to follow this policy.

    17. SwimTastic reserves the right to collect personal information from you for the purposes of enrolment and to provide swim school services. This information will be used to assist us in providing swim school services, to communicate with you and for any other purpose, you may authorise. SwimTastic undertakes to maintain your privacy in accordance with all applicable privacy laws. 

    18. In the unlikely event of lessons being cancelled due to something out of our control, for example, a water quality (faecal or vomiting) incident, the customer’s swim accounts will be issued with a make-up token for the missed lesson. Refunds/Credits will not be given.

    19. For any concession cards for Health H20 (Water Aerobics), Adult Swim Squads and lap swimming, these are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

    20. For any credits on customer accounts, these will only be valid for 1 year from the date of issue. No refunds are provided.

    21. By enrolling into SwimTastic you are acknowledging your acceptance to these Terms and Conditions. 

    Cancelling (Perpetual Programmes)

    Any cancellations must be made in writing. Please note it is your responsibility to provide SwimTastic with a notice of withdrawal in writing via email (info@swimtastic.co.nz) or using the drop function via the SwimTastic mobile app/online web portal. We do not accept verbal cancellations. Cancellation must be made PRIOR to the end of the current month, if this date is missed you will be charged for the next full month of lessons. Once payment has been made and you then decide to withdraw your child from swimming lessons there will be no refund or credit for the payment made. If you withdraw part-way through the month, you will still be charged for the full month.

    You enter into an ongoing agreement when you accepted the Terms and Conditions and we require notification of cancellation for you to opt-out.

    Make-up Policy (Perpetual Swim Classes only)

    Make-up Policy

    Our flexible make-up policy allows a make-up to be offered for any reason for absence.

    The make-up lesson must occur within 60 days (two months) of the missed class date. There will be no extension.

    • SwimTastic must be notified at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the regular lesson via our booking portal or by phone/email to be eligible for a make-up lesson.

    • You will be issued a token within 48 hours after the class has taken place and the rolls have been marked into our system.

    • Make-up lessons can only be arranged 48hrs in advance via our booking portal and once booked cannot be altered.

    • Once a make-up is scheduled it cannot be changed. Make-ups will be forfeited if not attended or cancelled.

    • We are unable to guarantee your preferred day/time, teacher will be available.

    • SwimTastic will make every effort to honor your make-up lesson booking, however reserves the right to change this lesson booking should it see fit.

    • To complete a make-up, you must have a current enrolment. You have currently enrolled in lessons and your account is financial with no outstanding fees owing.

    • If you no longer have an active booking, you forgo any make-up lessons.

    • Make-up lessons cannot be transferred to another family member.

    • Credit & refunds are not available as an alternative.

    Please Note:

There is a $30 administration cancellation fee for the holiday programme, plus any lesson(s) that have occurred of the holiday programme booking, which will be charged to your account should you cancel. Through the discretion of management, this may be waived if it is due to a serious medical event with proof of a medical letter.

    Please Note:

    1. SwimTastic private lessons are separate to the perpetual bookings and require full payment upon making your booking.  

    2. Private lessons are booked and scheduled via the online booking portal/mobile app.

    3. Private lessons have a limit to how many sessions can be booked at once. It is your responsibility to book further lessons when availability is released online.

    4. Private lessons are subject to instructor availability and schedule and pool space availability. This can be seen online when booking.

    5. Private lessons do not receive an individual lane per private.

    6. Private lessons can be re-scheduled. This can be done at least 12 hours in advance. If it is less than 12 hours in advance, please refer to the cancellation policy in point 7.

    7. Any cancellations of private lessons must be made in writing via email (info@swimtastic.co.nz) or via the cancellation function on the online web portal/mobile app. We do not accept verbal cancellations. These must be made at least 12 hours in advance. If it is made less than 12 hours in advance, you will be charged for the lesson missed. Through the discretion of management, this can be reviewed and potentially waived if it is due to a serious medical event with proof of a medical letter.

    8. If you have booked and do not show for your private lesson, you will be charged in full for that private session.

    11. Instructors have different pricing based on their experience tier rating. Instructors tiers and fees can be viewed online when booking a private.

    12. If your instructor is sick or away, we will try to provide an alternative instructor. If we cannot provide an alternative, or if you are not happy with the alternative, then SwimTastic will cancel the private for no charge.

    13. SwimTastic reserves the right to cancel & refund your appointment or assign/refer to another instructor/time slot if we believe the instructor you have booked is not suitable for your needs/purpose or swimmers level/capabilities.
