Our holiday block lessons run during the school holiday period. The holiday block classes run each day for four days, with the skills learned being reinforced daily to deliver excellent results.

Holiday Programme and Clinics

If you're looking for an engaging and productive activity to keep your kid occupied during school holidays, our holiday block lessons might just be the perfect solution for you. Our program runs for four consecutive days, offering a concentrated and intensive learning experience that helps your child to develop new skills and knowledge.

Our lessons are designed to be fun and educational, with a wide range of activities and exercises that will keep your child engaged and motivated.

Each day builds on the previous day's learning, with the skills and concepts being reinforced daily to ensure that your child achieves excellent results. Our experienced and dedicated team of instructors are passionate about teaching and working with children and will provide your child with the guidance and support they need to succeed.

Holiday Programme Terms and Conditions:

As at 1 September 2022.

Please Note: 

  1. SwimTastic school holiday programmes are separate to the perpetual bookings and require full payment upon making your booking.   

  2. Holiday programme classes are booked for the scheduled week session, usually Monday to Thursday. Should you enter part way through the week, you will only be charged from the date of entry.

  3. Should you miss a class, SwimTastic does not issue make-up tokens or credits for the holiday programme. Through the discretion of management, this may be waived if it is due to a serious medical event with proof of a medical letter.

  4. Any cancellations of the holiday programme must be made in writing via email (info@swimtastic.co.nz) we do not accept verbal cancellations. There is a $25 administration cancellation fee for the holiday programme, which will be charged to your account should you cancel. Through the discretion of management, this may be waived if it is due to a serious medical event with proof of a medical letter.

  5. We do not take pencil/tentative bookings. Once a booking has been made it is taken as a confirmed booking.    

  6. Payment via credit card will incur a surcharge, Payments via bank account do not incur this fee.

  7. SwimTastic reserves the right to change any teacher at any time at our discretion.  

  8. For the health and well-being of all SwimTastic customers, swimming caps are compulsory for all swimmers 3 years of age and over.  

  9. SwimTastic’s primary form of communication is through email. It remains our client’s responsibility to keep their details up to date to receive all service updates, booking information/confirmation.  

  10. CCTV is in place around SwimTastic to monitor the safety of our swim school, teachers and participants. SwimTastic may take photos of the lessons from time to time, in order to assess lessons or teachers for internal training purposes.  

  11. SwimTastic understands that parents want to take photos and videos of  their swimmers. Please be mindful and respect other family's’ privacy when taking images.   

  12. SwimTastic reserves the right to collect personal information from you for the purposes of enrolment and to provide swim school services. This information will be used to assist us in providing swim school services, to communicate with you and for any other purpose, you may authorise. SwimTastic undertakes to maintain your privacy in accordance with all applicable privacy laws.

  13. By enrolling into SwimTastic holiday programme you are acknowledging your acceptance to these Terms and Conditions.  

Swim School Information

What to Bring:

  • Swimming cap

  • Swimming togs

  • Goggles

  • Towel

  • Water bottle

What to Wear:

  • We recommend snug fitting togs and advise against rash tops and board shorts as they can hinder swimming progress.

  • Swimming caps are compulsory. We have several options at reception to purchase.

Snacks:

  • We do not recommend eating within 30 minutes of your lesson to reduce risk of tummy cramps and upsets.

Should a swimmer be unable to attend their lesson, please notify us via our booking portal, or through reception by email info@swimtastic.co.nz or leave a message on our absences phone line 09 527 0010 as soon as possible.
