This is an introduction to training and the benefits of group swimming. Working towards training squads that cover all competitive strokes, starts, turns and poolside coaching.
Squads
Mini Squad Bronze
Lesson Duration: 40 Minutes
Preliminary introduction to training and the benefits of group swimming.
Mini Squad Silver
Lesson Duration: 40 Minutes
Training and stroke refinement within a group environment. Emphasis is on Breaststroke and Butterfly.
Mini Squad Gold
Lesson Duration: 40 Minutes
Continued development of training etiquette. Emphasis is on Medley swimming, starts and turns.
Dolphins
Lesson Duration: 40 Minutes
Emphasis on endurance training, covering all strokes, starts and turns.
Sharks
Lesson Duration: 60 Minutes
Entry level training squad covering all competitive strokes, starts and turns, with instructions conducted from the poolside. Training sets, aerobic conditioning and technique. In this squad, swimmers will need to have their own set of hand paddles, which are also used in the Junior Stingrays Stingrays and Mantarays.
Stingrays, Junior and Senior Development Squad
Lesson Duration: 60 Minutes
Formal training squad covering all competitive strokes, starts and turns. The final stage to encourage competitive swimming. Great for water polo players, tri athletes and students wanting to keep fit through swimming

Swim School Information
What to Wear:
We recommend snug fitting togs and advise against rash tops and board shorts as they can hinder swimming progress.
Swimming caps are compulsory. We have several options at reception to purchase.
Snacks:
We do not recommend eating within 30 minutes of lessons to reduce risk of tummy cramps and upsets.
